Officer Election Announced

December 11, 2009//Lincoln, Neb.//JoAnn M. Martin, president and chief executive officer – UNIFI Mutual Holding Company, announces the following officer election, effective December 1.

Rick Dinges, FLMI, ACS, was elected second vice president – information technology. Rick is responsible for ensuring the alignment of the information technology division’s technical strategies, plans, and objectives with those of the Ameritas Group Division. He also is accountable for the business systems that support Ameritas Group’s operations and financial objectives.

Rick joined Ameritas in June 1986 as a group claims examiner. He has held various positions including group administration supervisor, systems coordinator, senior manager of group business systems and most recently information technology director.

He attended the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, majoring in anthropology/archaeology. He graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in English, and a Master of Arts with an emphasis in Literary Studies.
